One additional fact belongs in this summary, stated precisely and without insinuation: Brilliant Movement co-founder Dionne Van Zyl was charged by the SEC in February 2020 with directing $23.5 million of fellow church members’ funds into his own failing ventures without disclosure (SEC v.
