Then you should have a voice on it. Verify that you control your own channels and you get a published right of reply, control of your own links, and a real route to a better income grade — free.
If that reads as a hard line, it is meant to. A profile you could buy your way out of would be worth nothing to the readers researching you — and worth nothing to you when it says something good.
Short version: we don't verify you, we verify control of the channels this profile is already about. Anyone can say they're you in an email. Almost nobody else can add a DNS record to your domain.
You'll need to prove control of two assets already listed on your profile — and at least one of them has to be a domain you own, unless your profile lists no domain at all.
Add a TXT record to your DNS containing a token we give you, or serve that token at a file path on your site.
The strongest proof, because it needs registrar access. Two separate domains satisfies the whole requirement on its own.
Paste the token into the public bio or channel description of a channel listed on your profile — YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X. Remove it as soon as it checks out.
Takes about a minute and needs no technical help.
A DM from the account. An email from a free-mail address. Screenshots.
And please don't send identity documents. We don't want them, we won't store them, and they wouldn't prove you run the channel anyway.
Usually a couple of days, most of which is us reading carefully. Nothing publishes automatically — not your reply, not your links. Every word goes past a human first, which is as much a protection for you as for us.
Free. Takes about two minutes. Opens our claim form (hosted by Tally, not this site).
Claim your profile →Representatives are welcome and expected — agencies, assistants, chiefs of staff. Just tell us who you are; the badge says "subject or authorized representative" because that's what's true.
Not as a claim outcome. These are independent editorial profiles of public figures' public business activity. If something in it is wrong, that's a correction and we want it — file one here, claimed or not, free and open to anyone.
Tell us and show us. Corrections don't require a claim, don't require payment, and get logged publicly when we make them. That log is the point — it's how a reader knows the rest of the page is worth trusting.
That's usually true, and it's the most useful thing on this page. Grades reflect the evidence available to us, not our opinion of you — a "C" often just means everything public was self-reported. Send documentation and it gets re-graded on the evidence. Several grades on this site are limited only by what we could verify from outside.
No. Claiming, replying, correcting and re-grading are free and will stay free. We may later offer a paid tier for analytics and a clearly-labeled sponsored link — never for anything editorial.
Tell us and verify with stronger proof. Stronger proof wins, the claim is revoked, and we put a dated note on the page saying it happened. We won't swap a claim quietly.
That's your right. But a claim is faster, free, and puts your version on the page permanently — which is usually what someone actually wants. The offer stands either way.
