The editor’s other site, Opportunity Grade, also has “Freedom Accelerator”, one of Montoya’s program names, queued for review on its watchlist. No referral code is printed on this page, and the evidence standard is the one every profile gets.
Jonathan Montoya is a New Mexico electrical engineer who began publishing weekly on YouTube as Passive Income Lifestyles in May 2019 and left his engineering job in March 2020 VERIFIED: about page. He built his business on one design: everything he sells comes with an affiliate program and a free front end. That began with a low-ticket challenge and the Freedom Breakthrough course in 2020, continued with Funnel Freedom in 2023, and now runs through MakerAI, AI software he co-founded with Stefan Ciancio in 2026, and a free AI-agency course whose only purchase is a GoHighLevel trial on his link VERIFIED. By his own count, “over 26,000 people” promote his products, and affiliates have produced “3.1 million in revenue” VERIFIED as his statements, 31 Mar 2026.
The 75% is a dated term. The commission he is known for was a purchase bonus on the Freedom Breakthrough 2.0 order form: “If You’re A Freedom Breakthrough Affiliate Get 75% Commissions For Life”, on the page from at least 20 Aug 2021 to 12 Dec 2022 VERIFIED: Wayback. In April 2023 buyers were offered 50%; in May 2023 the affiliate portal paid everyone 50% plus “15% Second Tier Commissions” VERIFIED. Since September 2024 the portal’s visible sign-up text has said “40% Commissions on ALL sales and upsales” and mentions no second tier, but the page’s title and meta description still carry the 2023 wording, so whether a second tier still pays is not established VERIFIED; UNKNOWN. Freedom Breakthrough 3.0 buyers are told they “Get 50% Commission For Every Sale”, and MakerAI pays 30%, or 40% after an approved YouTube review VERIFIED.
What the platforms say, and what he says. ClickFunnels’ own podcast introduced him on 3 Feb 2022 with “a Two Comma Club Award under his belt” and on 8 Oct 2025 as a “Two Comma Club Award winner” VERIFIED: ClickFunnels Radio RSS. Third-party descriptions say the award goes to a funnel whose sales pass $1 million; the episodes state no amount CORROBORATED. HighLevel’s award page lists Funnel Freedom at Platinum, with no year, while his pages claim a Diamond award VERIFIED. His own totals disagree: “past $10M in lifetime sales” on the MakerAI author page, “$18M In Sales” in his newsletter, “I now make 7-figures per month” on LinkedIn (11 May 2024), and “4 Two Comma Club awards” including a “Two Comma Club C” on his hub VERIFIED as his statements. Third-party guides put that C tier at $25 million or more through one funnel, which would conflict with both of his lifetime figures CORROBORATED. A December 2022 video description promised “$0 to $100,000 per month with just this program” VERIFIED.
Prices and guarantees today. Freedom Breakthrough 3.0 costs $1,997 fast-action or three payments of $747 ($2,241), behind a $5 five-day “9-5 Freedom Hackers Challenge”; the old /3day address is now a free-video opt-in VERIFIED: live pages. The live refund policy grants a refund requested within 14 days only if the buyer has launched an affiliate offer, posted at least 35 short videos, emailed their list and completed no more than 30% of the course VERIFIED. Earlier pages promised “Full Refund + $997!” (April 2021) and “Full Refund + $1497! *See Full Policy For Refund Policy Eligibility” (August 2021 to December 2022); a February 2024 “$100 and refund” headline now survives only as a footer footnote on three pages VERIFIED.
Ads, in his words and his partner’s. On 31 Mar 2026 he said: “So, so just to be like I never ran ads. Um, now I kind of started running ads now, but when I first started, I was I was completely doing organic marketing.” VERIFIED verbatim, from 6:31. MakerAI’s own author page says he taught “affiliate marketing and paid traffic” and names “YouTube ads” in his bio VERIFIED. Meta Pixels sit on his current funnels; the ad libraries were not checked VERIFIED; UNKNOWN.
Reach and record. The channel has 97.8K subscribers and posted 152 uploads in the 90 days to 16 Oct 2026 (42 long-form, 106 Shorts, 4 live); long-form in that window averaged 766 views VERIFIED. His pages give student counts from 55,000+ to 66,000+ VERIFIED as claims. No lawsuit, regulator action or SEC filing naming him or his companies turned up in the searches that ran; CourtListener was throttled, the FTC search was blocked and the New Mexico registry needs a browser, so those checks did not complete VERIFIED for completed searches; UNKNOWN beyond. There is no caution flag. Net worth figures for people with his name circulate online; Top Earners does not reproduce them.
“The Ready-to-Promote Affiliate Machine” [PARTIALLY REPLICABLE]. Each product launches with a commission plan, a free asset an affiliate can send traffic to (a live workshop, a free course, a white-label course with resell rights), and tracking that keeps a lead credited to the affiliate for months; on MakerAI he says a lead stays the affiliate’s “12 months later” VERIFIED as his description. The rate has moved from 75% for course buyers in 2021–2022 to 40% on the visible terms today, but the mechanism has held: a buyer can promote with no product work VERIFIED. The design can be copied. The audience that supplied his first affiliates, built on YouTube and TikTok from 2019 to 2022, cannot INFERRED.
Give the funnel, collect the subscription. His current flagship hands away a course and a cloneable funnel whose only paid step is software: a HighLevel trial on his link, or Funnel Freedom at $97 a month. “All I need you to do is sign up for a go highlevel free trial because you’re going to need it anyways,” he tells viewers, and HighLevel pays 40% recurring for every month the referred account stays VERIFIED. Trial starters can request “the clone training” and promote HighLevel themselves, so each clone is a new HighLevel affiliate funnel built on an account he referred VERIFIED; INFERRED reading. The same nine-month quit story has fronted every vehicle since 2019: a ClickFunnels affiliate channel, a course, a white-label platform and AI software VERIFIED dates. His publishing shows where the weight sits now: of the 42 long-form videos in the latest 90 days, the first link in the description goes to MakerAI in 20 and to the free HighLevel course in 15, with the rest split among a summit he promotes, Freedom Threads and a paid Facebook-posting club VERIFIED: description scan. The older Freedom Breakthrough course is still for sale but is not linked from his hub at all VERIFIED.
What not to copy. Refund promises paid on the buyer’s return on investment; “Success guaranteed” on a page whose footer guarantees no results; student counts that range from 55,000+ to 66,000+ and subscriber claims of “89,000”, “96K+” and “200,000+” against a platform count of 97.8K; and a resell right whose “100% commission” requires a $97-a-month subscription to his own platform VERIFIED. The live refund policy also deserves a careful read before anyone models it: a buyer must do the work (an affiliate offer launched, 35 short videos, emails sent) inside 14 days while having used under a third of the course, which leaves a narrow path to a refund VERIFIED terms; INFERRED effect. A replicator should put a typicality line beside every figure, keep one source for public counts, and state any required paid tool before checkout INFERRED.

Then a Skool invite and the HighLevel trial, through his short link, on HighLevel's co-branded page ("HighLevel usually only has a 14-day trial, so he's really offering a ton of value!") VERIFIED. Bonus stacks and email. The 2021–2022 Freedom Breakthrough 2.0 order form listed "5 FREE bonuses worth $11067", the 75%-for-life commission among them VERIFIED. His Side Hustle Summit VIP bonus (Aug 2026) went to "the first 50 qualifying people" upgrading through his link VERIFIED. The beehiiv newsletter promises four trainings, including "How I Use AI to Get 98 Million Views to My Products" VERIFIED.
