Disclosure: the editor's Empower Network past
Editor Rob Fore was an Empower Network affiliate from its original 2011 launch meeting and one of its top producers in 2012, while Wood co-founded and ran it with David Sharpe; the editor's founder page shows a January 2013 Empower check that, in his own record, Wood and Sharpe presented to him on stage. Wood also prospected him for Numis Network in 2011. That Empower Network collapsed in 2017. In the editor's statement, the 2026 relaunch of empowernetwork.com is a separate operation and he holds no position in it.

Why This Is a Caution File

One adjudicated civil matter stands against David Wood personally, and its docket is in hand. WorldVentures Holdings, LLC, Wayne Nugent, Daniel Stammen, Josh Paine, Individually, and on behalf of Josh Paine’s Minor Children v. David Wood, Case No. 429-02888-2018, 429th District Court, Collin County, Texas (Judge Jill Renfro Willis; Wood appearing pro se from St. George, Utah). Plaintiffs filed their Original Petition and Motion for Temporary Restraining Order on 2018-06-15 and the TRO was granted the same day; it was extended with substitute service on 06-27; at the 07-12 hearing “Plaintiffs appeared via and with counsel; Defendant not appear; court staff called hall three times,” and a Temporary Injunction issued 07-13; Plaintiffs moved for contempt on 07-27 and an Order of Contempt issued 08-08 with Wood again absent; at the 08-27 trial before the court, with notice to Wood proved up on the record and Wood absent, the court entered a Permanent Injunction and Final Judgment. The case is Closed VERIFIED — Collin County District Clerk, Judicial Online Search case history, retrieved 2026-09-02; all 34 docket events transcribed in the research file. The portal does not expose document images, so the order text — the TRO’s finding, as quoted, that Wood “has threatened specific violence and bodily injury against Plaintiffs,” the 1,000-foot stay-away, and the $21,889 in costs — rests on BehindMLM’s quotation of the orders (2018-07-18, 2018-08-28) CORROBORATED and on Wood’s own acknowledgment the day after judgment: “I was never notified about this court date” and “The company can subtract the $21k from the 50% of the company that they’ll give me when I sue them” VERIFIED — first-party, behindmlm.com 2018-08-28, comments #4 and #6. During the pendency of the TRO he published a blog post urging readers to throw eggs and rocks at WorldVentures’ headquarters and to mass-chargeback the company, signed as “Elohim-Masarecht, the Father of Jesus” VERIFIED as quoted. A records request to the District Clerk for the judgment images would upgrade the order language to VERIFIED; a post-judgment Notice of Hearing dated 2019-01-18 is on the docket and unexplained.

Everything else on the record is stated precisely and is not part of the flag. Empower Network was the plaintiff, not the defendant, in both federal suits found (EN v. First Source Leads, 8:13-cv-01421; EN v. Sharpe & Sharpe Consulting Group, 8:15-cv-01165, M.D. Fla.) VERIFIED. The FTC received 160+ consumer complaints about Empower Network, released to TINA.org under FOIA in March 2014, and never brought an enforcement action VERIFIED. No SEC or CFTC action exists regarding Quantum Club (2023–24); BehindMLM’s characterization of it as “securities fraud, commodities fraud and pyramid recruitment” is a critic’s assessment and is recorded here as such. There is no state AG action, no class action and no US criminal charge. The 2017 Costa Rica hospital arrest is self-reported and its disposition is unknown. And — contrary to the received industry story and to this site’s own earlier wording on the Sharpe profile — no Chapter 11 docket for Empower Network, LLC has been located in RECAP full-text, party search, or a sweep of the three Florida bankruptcy courts for 2017–18; the “bankruptcy” traces to Wood’s own 2017-08-02 video (“It is going bankrupt”) as headlined by Business For Home VERIFIED negative; a direct PACER/flmb query remains outstanding.

Executive Summary

Disclosure first. Rob Fore, who edits topearners.net, joined Empower Network at its original 2011 launch, a meeting of some forty people, and earned commissions as an affiliate VERIFIED as the editor’s statement; Business For Home listed him among its top producers in 2012 VERIFIED: the editor’s records; CORROBORATED: Business For Home, 2012. The editor’s founder page on this site shows a January 2013 Empower Network check that, by his own record, David Wood and David Sharpe presented to him on stage [the editor’s own record]. Wood also prospected him for Numis Network in 2011 VERIFIED as the editor’s statement. The Empower Network the editor belonged to collapsed in 2017. Wood’s 2026 relaunch of empowernetwork.com is a separate operation, and the editor holds no position in it VERIFIED as the editor’s statement. Because of that history, the caution flag, the income evidence and the relaunch on this page are reported to the same published standard as every other profile.

David Wood operates two rebuilt-from-scratch WordPress properties. empowernetwork.com, relaunched in July 2026 (RDAP last changed 2026-07-17; income disclaimer “Last updated: July 2026”), sells a $25–97-a-month AI-assisted Blogging System through Stripe, six archived 2012-era courses at $99–$498 (the “Classic Vault”), and runs a free “claim your old courses back” restitution flow for pre-2017 buyers. workwithdavidwood.com, re-registered 2022-11-27 after the 2009 domain lapsed, carries 763 SEO posts — 680 published since June 2026, roughly eleven a day, AI-drafted by the site’s own disclosure — and funnels a daily email list into three externally hosted doors: a free community (I AM Transformation), an on-chain “100% commission” affiliate program (Wealth Transformation, the Quantum Club lineage), and a brain-training product (CortexSurge) VERIFIED — live fetches, RDAP, post-sitemap.xml, 2026-09-02.

The relaunch explicitly repudiates the model that made him. Site copy: “There is no compensation plan. No affiliates, no ranks, no downlines, no ‘all in.’” It is replaced by a flat, single-level 30% partner program whose own page states that “checkout is live and taking real orders, but the commission ledger… is still being finished, so nothing has been paid to anyone yet and no partner currently has a balance” VERIFIED — /partners/. The 2011–2017 ladder was $25/month → $100 Inner Circle → $500 Costa Rica Intensive → $1,000 15K Formula → $3,500 Masters at 100% commission with pass-ups, closed with “pull out your credit card run to the application to the order form call your sponsor” (g4fEZC_5knA 53:25) CORROBORATED / VERIFIED.

Three points of record. Wood did not leave in 2016 — he became Chairman on 2013-12-03 when Jonathan Cronstedt was named CEO and was removed from leadership by family intervention in June 2017 VERIFIED — PRNewswire; corroborated accounts. Amway and Agel are unsupported; the only pre-Empower vehicles traceable are Numis Network and MLSP, both weakly sourced UNKNOWN / CORROBORATED weak. And the bankruptcy has no docket (above).

Income evidence is a split grade. The company’s own archived 2013 income disclosure is the best company-level document in this series after the founder’s evidence pack: 91% of all affiliates under $100 a month; the single top cell $1,379,241 in one month — almost certainly Wood or the one top affiliate, though the disclosure names nobody VERIFIED / INFERRED. His personal figures are self-reported and drift by era — “$30,000 a month… the very next month more than $45,000” (2012), “three to ten thousand dollars a day every day” (2012), “my biggest pay year… like $3 million” (2025), “$8,000 to $15,000 on my best days” (2026) — and what Empower Network actually paid him in any year is unknown. Company revenue is B-grade from his own 2017 confession: “$7 million a month” at peak, “$300,000 a month” at collapse, ~$100 million cumulative 2011–13, consistent with the 38,000-affiliate press release. $100K+/yr today is not verifiable, and the relaunch’s own disclaimer declines to publish figures.

The say/do gaps are the operating risk. “No hype” appears five times on a site headlined “Stop earning eighty cents a head”; /recommended-products/ says “these are not affiliate picks, and nobody paid me to list them” while its own footer says linked products have “a high likelihood of being affiliate offers”; a site promising “ugly numbers included” publishes none of its own and no price on any offer; the footer discloses “Some blog comments are AI reader personas” beneath a 22-minute video essay condemning AI-fabricated social proof (ba9WJYDlkLs); and every page still carries a referral link to office.quantumclub.ai that returned HTTP 000 VERIFIED — live pages and transcript.

The Edge

The Resurrection Funnel [STRUCTURAL — not replicable; the mechanics beneath it are]. Wood’s advantage in 2026 is that the first half of his story is already installed in the head of every prospect over 35 who has ever been near a biz-opp. He does not have to build awareness or even credibility from zero; he has to convert notoriety into trust, which is a cheaper problem. Every 2026 asset is engineered for that conversion: the failure is told first and in detail (“Empower Network was two things — it was a massive success and it was a colossal implosion. It was both at the same time,” _PJhdCM6Yr8 3:09); the old courses are given back free as restitution, which rebuilds the customer list AWS deleted for non-payment under the moral cover of an apology; the new comp structure is the explicit negation of the old one; the commission is put on a public blockchain so “you can audit yourself, before you trust a single word I say”; and the income disclaimer over-discloses (“Most participants earn little to nothing”) VERIFIED. The man whose word was the whole product in 2012 now sells the fact that you no longer have to take it.

The voice tells the same story. Across roughly ninety minutes of 2025 transcript the strings “wussy,” “get money,” “all in,” “bad ass,” “lock arms,” “forces of evil” and “empower” appear zero times; he did not soften the brand, he amputated it — and then rebought the domain VERIFIED — full-transcript sweep. What survived the purge is the daily-email habit (Empower Hour → Daily Shortcut), the $25 entry price, and the Costa Rica geo-flex spoken aloud at the top of every video, which does the income-claiming the disclaimer forbids.

What a late entrant cannot copy. You cannot manufacture a famous collapse — substitute radical, specific, dated disclosure of your own smaller failures, published before anyone asks. The 100%-commission window is the thing the pass-up math and the FTC complaints killed — his 30% single-level program is the correct substitute and he has already built it. What not to copy: the AI reader personas, the unpriced offers, the affiliate-disclosure contradiction, and above all recruiting partners into a program whose ledger cannot yet pay. Copy the restitution instinct; do not copy the execution gaps that undermine it.

Score Note

Scored by this dossier at 46 / Tier 3, cohort MLM, caution. Income 16/40: an A− company-level artifact (the 2013 IDS) against a D present and a C personal record. Audience 8/30: 9,008 Facebook likes on the DavidWoodLovesPeople page, 3,760 YouTube subscribers at ~566 views per video, an unmeasured Facebook account (/themessiahdavid) that the sites actually link, and a list of unknown size. Activity 12/20: a full relaunch in July 2026 and ~11 posts a day, but the YouTube channel has been dormant ~10 months and the partner program has never paid. What We Can and Can't Verify About David Wood's Net Worth

Top Earners does not publish a net worth figure for David Wood, and it doesn't publish one for anyone else either. A public record can show income signals: ranks, commissions, sales and company filings. It can't show the rest of a person's finances: other investments, unreported income streams, inheritance, property, debts and taxes. A total that leaves those out is a guess, so we don't print one.

What the record does show is how well David Wood's income is documented, graded C, and the evidence behind that grade is set out claim by claim in this dossier. Net worth estimates that circulate online are not used here: they rarely show where their numbers come from.

Who researched this dossier

This dossier on David Wood was researched and written by Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, from public and primary sources — the subject's own channels, filings and company documents where they exist — and every claim in it carries an evidence tag showing how strongly it is sourced.

It was reviewed before publication by Rob Fore, who checks each source against the document it came from and each allegation against its stage: an investigation is not a finding, a complaint is not a verdict, and a company-level record is not a personal one. TOP EARNERS is published by Listech, Inc., a Nevada corporation.

What this page does not claim. The income grade of C rates the strength of the public evidence about David's earnings, not David's earnings themselves, and not David as a person. Where no primary document exists, this dossier says so rather than estimating.

  • Estimated monthly cost: ~$120–250

Fingerprinted from David's own page source, not copied off a recommendations page. Those two lists disagree more often than you would think.

You can see the shape of it. That is deliberate.

Count the rows. 11 moves on a fixed cadence, each one already assigned to a person, a VA or an AI, each one carrying the number it lives or dies by.

That is not advice. That is a schedule with names on it.

The covered column is the instruction - what actually happens in that slot. Voice works the same way: you can read what each pattern is about, not the pattern itself. So does the stack.

Why hold it back? Because that is the product, and pretending otherwise would insult you.

Bottom line - the free half tells you where David shows up. The paid half tells you what to say when you get there, what to run it on, and what to do every day so it compounds.

Think about that. Then decide.

Unlock David's full playbook

All 18 sections: complete funnel teardown, replication-grade voice and style guide, the tool stack with what is used versus what is promoted, operating budget line items, the handoff-ready daily/weekly/monthly SOP, and the 90-day replication roadmap. Same evidence discipline as the free half - every claim tagged, every number sourced, and where we do not know, it says so.

What this page can and can't tell you

This dossier documents how David makes money and how the operation runs — sourced, dated, and tagged VERIFIED CORROBORATED INFERRED UNKNOWN so you can see the strength of every claim rather than taking ours.

What it deliberately does not do is tell you whether to join anything. The honest questions are the boring ones:

  • Is the income evidence any good? David's grade is C — Split grade: A− for Empower Network's own archived 2013 income disclosure (91% of affiliates under $100/month; top cell $1,379,241 in one month — the disclosure names nobody), C for his personal figures (every one self-reported and drifting by era: "$3 million" best year, a $464,913 check in 2012, now "$8,000 to $15,000 on my best days"), D for the present. What Empower Network actually paid him in any year is unknown; the July 2026 relaunch publishes no figures and its partner program has paid nobody. $100K+/yr today is not verifiable.. A low grade means weak documentation, not weak earnings.
  • Is the edge transferable to you? The Playbook tab has the channel map and the funnel. Read it and ask what David had that you don't — an existing audience is the usual answer, and it is usually the whole answer.
  • Are they still doing it? Check the Latest Feed tab. A quiet channel and a loud pitch are different things.
  • There is a caution file on this profile. Read it in the Dossier tab before anything else.

We take a commission on some links on this site, disclosed where they appear. That is exactly why the grade and the caution flag are not for sale — how we work.
